Simplifying Our Pricing with Lower Prices and Clearer Billing

We're simplifying our pricing! Instead of charging per 'active user', we're lowering prices per seat and changing to a more predictable system where you'll pay for any active seats. We’re also giving you the tools to deactivate a user, so they won't be counted in the next billing cycle. There is no change to the External User Add-on, or the way we count external users. 
This change is effective from today,
August 1st, 2023.
Existing customers will have a transition period until October 1st, during which your bills should be cheaper. As always, we're here to help with any questions or support needs during this transition.

At Noloco, we are constantly striving to provide an excellent user experience and make our tools more accessible. One critical aspect of this is our pricing structure. We understand the importance of transparency and predictability when it comes to costs, and that's why we're excited to announce that we’re simplifying our pricing, by lowering prices and making it easier to understand how you’re billed at Noloco.

Why Make A Change?

Our pricing for almost the past year has been based on the number of 'active users' per month. This originally seemed like a cost-effective option. However, we have come to realise, after many support questions, that it presented complexities that made it challenging for you, our customers, to understand and predict your costs. The instability also led us to charge slightly more per active user than necessary. This feedback came directly from you, and we've been listening.

What Has Changed?

We're thrilled to announce that we're bringing down the cost of Noloco. We're doing this by making changes to the way we count the users you're charged for. Instead of being billed for any user who logged into the app during the billing period, you'll now pay for users who activated their account (by logging in). If you deactivate a user, they will no longer be able to log in, and you won't be charged for them in the next billing cycle. This change offers more control and predictability over your costs by allowing you to control exactly who has access and who you pay for.

In short, the new price per month (paid annually) for the Pro plan is $15 per seat, down from $24 per active user.
The new price per month (paid annually) for the Business plan is $28 per seat, down from $39 per active user.

We aren’t making any changes to the External User Add-on. If enabled for your app, we will still only count the unique number of users who logged into your app in a given billing period, allowing you to benefit from flexible and bulk pricing for your external users (customers, clients, partners, contractor etc.)


The new, cheaper pricing is effective from today, August 1st, 2023. We believe all customers will benefit from this new pricing model. For our existing customers, we want to make the transition as smooth as possible. We will continue to count your app’s users as before until October 1st, after which we will count your users using the new method. This means your bill for the next two months should be cheaper than before, and you have time to deactivate any accounts that should no longer have access to your app, allowing you to experience the benefits of our new pricing structure immediately, without any concerns.

We're proud of this change and believe it will significantly simplify pricing and offer more predictable costs. Most importantly, it allows us to continue providing you with the exceptional tools and services you've come to expect from Noloco, but at a lower cost.
