What should you check before trusting an AI-built portal with real client data?

Security isn't something you can judge from how polished a portal looks.

In October 2025, security firm Escape scanned 5,600 publicly available applications built with AI coding tools. It reported more than 2,000 high-impact vulnerabilities, more than 400 exposed secrets and 175 cases of exposed personal data.
