Noloco pricing update 2026: Introducing Build and AI Credits

Today we're making an important update to our pricing at Noloco.

Those of you who have been with us for a couple of years, will know this isn't our first change to our pricing plans. As we have said before, we’re always looking for ways to make it easier for businesses and organizations to build powerful, custom tools, portals, and more. The way teams work, use software, and build their own tools has changed enormously over the last few years. During that same time, Noloco has grown too: we support far more teams, use cases, and ways of building than when we first introduced our pricing.

Today's launch of Canvas changes how you can build with Noloco. Instead of only configuring pages, you can now ask Nola to create completely custom pages and components for you. That means AI becomes part of the way you build, so it made sense for our pricing to evolve too.

Alongside Canvas, we're introducing Build, AI Credits, and a simpler pricing model that's easier to understand, easier to predict, and grows alongside your business.

Introducing 'Build'

We're introducing the Build plan, in place of the Starter, Pro and Business plans that Noloco has offered for the last few years. Build combines seats, records, and AI Credits into a single plan that grows with your business.

Whether you have a small amount of data and a large team, or a small team with lots of moving data, it adapts to your needs. It also also comes with AI Credits to use with Nola, your AI Co-builder. Whether you're spending all day building your new portal, or making a few adjustments every couple of weeks, your plan adapts to your needs.

If you're on our Starter, Pro or Business plan, nothing changes unless you want it to. You keep the features you already have, at the same price, with one big addition: your plan now includes monthly AI Credits too. See 'What happens if you're already a Noloco customer' section below.

What's included in the Build plan

While the Free plan is enough for a huge number of teams, the Build plan is perfect for teams that need a little more, whether that's seats, AI Credits, or data records.

Here's what's included:

• 250 AI Credits per month
• 10 team seats included, then $6 per extra seat
• 1,000 client seats
• 25,000 records included, then $25 per additional 25,000 records
• All of our synced data sources
• Unlimited roles
• Row and Field based permissions
• And lots more

What is an AI Credit

Nola's AI-powered work, especially building and editing a Canvas, our newest way to add custom functionality to your app, is measured in credits.

Credits are a simple way to measure usage without you ever having to think about tokens, AI models, or the technical detail underneath. You describe what you want, Nola does the work, and the cost is shown to you in credits.

Credits are consumed by AI actions, and the cost scales naturally with the amount of work involved. A quick restyle of a component costs a fraction of a credit, while generating a whole page from scratch costs more.

Your allowance rolls over for one month if unused. If you regularly need more, you can move up to a higher credit tier. Read more about that in this guide.

How does the Build plan grow with your business

If you use all of the credits included in your plan before renewal date, you can upgrade to a higher tier, and increase your credit allowance at any time.

For example, if you've used the 250 credits included with Build, you can increase your monthly allowance to 400 credits. The additional 150 become available immediately, and any unused credits roll over to the next months.

Similarly, your plan grows with your data. Just like in the old plans, if you need more rows as your usage grows (Noloco tables or synced sources), your plan will grow with it, so you're never interrupted. Grow from 25,000 to 250,000 with ease.

The same applies to team seats. If your team needs more than the 10 allocated seats on the Build plan, additional seats will be automatically added to your plan, as your seats are activated. If you deactivate a seat, it will be removed from your next billing period, as before.

What happens if you're already a Noloco customer

If you're already on our Starter, Pro or Business plan, nothing changes unless you want it to. You keep the features you already have, at the same price, with one big addition:

Your plan now includes monthly AI Credits. Just like on the new Build plan, these credits will roll-over for exactly one month, and you can increase your credit allowance at any time.

Here's the breakdown of AI credits on each existing plan:

• Starter: 50 credits per month
• Pro: 250 credits per month
• Business: 400 credits per month

Regardless of which plan you're on, you can continue using the Noloco you know and love as you do today, now with AI Credits included, so you can start building with Canvas right away.

What's changing on the Free plan

With this change, we're adding some improvements to our Free plan:

• Unlimited team seats, starting now
• 30 AI Credits per month to use with Nola and Canvas
• An extra 5 AI credits added each day, to use that day

Canvas introduces a whole new way to build with Noloco. AI Credits give us a simple way to include AI-powered building in every plan while keeping pricing predictable as your usage grows.

What are AI Credits?

AI Credits measure the work Nola performs on your behalf. Instead of thinking about AI models or tokens, you'll simply see everything measured in Credits. Different actions use different numbers of Credits depending on the amount of work involved.

What can I use AI Credits for?

I Credits are used whenever Nola performs AI-powered actions, including building and editing Canvas pages and components, as well as other AI features across Noloco.

What happens if I use all my AI Credits?

You can upgrade to a higher AI Credit tier at any time and your additional Credits become available immediately.

Do I need to move to the new Build plan if I'm already a customer?‍

No. If you're already on a Starter, Pro, or Business plan, nothing changes unless you choose to move. You'll keep the same pricing and features you have today, with AI Credits now included.

What's the difference between Build and my current plan?‍

Build replaces Starter, Pro, and Business for new customers. It includes AI Credits by default and grows with you by adding seats, records, and AI Credits as your usage increases.

Can I add more seats or records later?

Yes, Build grows with you. Additional team seats and record bundles are added automatically as your usage increases, just as they are today.
